Nomadic plays a pivotal accommodation and catering role for clients embarking on prestigious 8-day mountaineering courses run by Mont Blanc Guides (MBG).

We provide catered accommodation and ground transport.

Our Castle Chalet Complex in the centre of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is transformed into the clients’ exclusive basecamp. The Complex is ideally suited, not only in terms of the accommodation offered in the form of The Castle Chalet, Le Nid and Princess Suite, but the spacious grounds and the office facility in the main building with high-speed internet.

The set-up works perfectly for the constant comings and goings of mountain guides, equipment hire and transfer vans.

There is a great buzz during these weeks with exhilarated clients who have summited sharing stories with nervous guests about to embark on their adventure.

Nomadic’s role is centred around ensuring that clients are well-fed and well-rested during their time in Chamonix. We serve nutritious and hearty meals designed to fuel the physical exertion of the course. We provide buffet breakfasts, homemade afternoon teas and three-course evening dinners. 

The accommodation is changed to twin-share configurations unless clients have requested single occupancy. The flexibility of our ziplock beds and the design of our bedrooms ensure maximum flexibility.

Nomadic organises accommodation for athletes, the media, competition winners and Arc'teryx staff for this incredible annual four-day event.

Mountain enthusiasts from around the globe descend on Chamonix-Mont-Blanc to advance their skills through educational clinics led by world-class guides and athletes.

Nomadic provides carefully-selected accommodation to meet the specific requirements of each distinct group. We hire chalets and privatise entire hotels for the week. 

The catering needs are unique to each group. Our team provides a simple boulangerie delivery and daily larder-filling service for some of the chalets right through to high-level personalised dining, evening banquets and on-site food trucks. 

For an event of this magnitude, flexibility and local-knowledge are key. Our team is on the ground year-round providing event back-up and troubleshooting behind the scenes. 

Meticulous attention to logistics makes this event a success year-after-year. With guests arriving and departing at all hours, and plans constantly shifting, our team is always two steps ahead and ready with a backup plan.

The group is diverse, with skiers of all levels but we ensure every guest maximises the experience. Private guides take advanced skiers off-piste, including the world's longest ski run, the Vallée Blanche. For those looking to improve their technique on the piste, instructors are organised. 

We use centrally-located luxury chalets with outdoor jacuzzis, jaw-dropping views and grand entertainment areas. 

Lunches are hearty affairs on the mountain where the entire group is able to reconvene and dine together. Restaurants are booked for two nights, with the other nights hosted at the chalet with a Private Chef who designs a five-course Gala Dinner for the first night and an informal post-après/pre-party affair for the last hurrah! 

An evening of Paret Sledging at Grand Montets is always a hit, as is the day's skiing in Italy and the magical moonlit hike (or skidoo ride) to a mountain restaurant for a private dinner like no other.

We have organised 25 team-building and client entertainment trips, winter and summer, for this corporate client yet we manage to make each event unique. 

This particular experience was a four-day Summer adventure centred on camaraderie.

Guests were picked up in private transfers from Geneva Airport and whisked to Chamonix where a beautiful lunch buffet awaited. An afternoon's hike along the Petit Balcon Sud, then back to the chalet to custom-fit the bikes. Guests were split into three groups based on their skill level, each guided by instructors.

From beginners to seasoned riders, everyone was set up with high-quality bikes and full protective gear. Every guest also received a custom-branded toiletry bag with the firm's logo and everyone was kitted out with branded cycling tops, shorts and socks.

The groups all met at a stunning lunch spot, where they could relax, recharge, and swap stories. After refueling with a hearty mountain meal, those with more energy could continue their biking adventure, while others hopped into our transport for a scenic ride back to Chamonix. Guests loved that despite the different levels, everyone was able to re-group at various times of the day and share their experiences. 

Two evenings were spent enjoying casual dinners at the chalet, cooked by a Private Chef, with other nights experiencing Chamonix's restaurants. The trip was a seamless blend of action, relaxation, and culinary delight!

The remarkable charity Adaptive Grandslam trains and enables disabled adventurers to take on extreme expeditions and inspire others with life-long injuries and disabilities to achieve their goals. 

Each year, team members deploy with Adaptive Grandslam supporters to the Alps to conduct glacier-climbing training and summit several 4000m peaks. The group's base camp is our chalet The Castle in central Chamonix. Nomadic provides catered accommodation with logistics support and budgeting for the week-long event. We provide assistance in securing the best mountain guides and equipment hire.

Chalet staff prepare hearty breakfasts to set the participants up for the challenging day ahead. Packed lunches prepared in-house are yummy baguettes, homemade muesli bars and fruit. Dinners are high-carb, comfort mountain food in the main 20-person dining room.

The Castle's central Chamonix location, private gardens and ample parking work perfectly for this group.

Any excuse for a celebration we say! We have had the privilege to host weddings, 50ths, university anniversaries...

With a recent family reunion, the guests ranged in age from 6 to 86.

Staying at The Castle Chalet Complex, ideally located in the town centre, meant guests could easily stroll to the shops, restaurants and attractions. The properties’ layouts were perfect for accommodating everyone’s needs - some of the family enjoyed quiet evenings, while others were ready to party into the night.

The spacious courtyard hosted a fun Food Truck evening, and the garden’s outdoor Jacuzzi was a favourite spot for relaxation for all ages. We catered for a variety of dietary needs and, throughout the week, we organised a range of activities, from via ferrata and scenic hikes to a trip to the fabulous thermal baths. A wine-tasting event at the chalet was a great success, as was the mountain biking.

For those travelling from afar, including guests flying in from the UK and USA, the transfer from Geneva Airport was seamless, and ample parking was available for those who drove.

We are the go-to experts for seamless on-the-ground logistics in Chamonix. We had the privilege of working with CNN on a documentary about glaciers. With time being of the essence, our team ensured that every aspect of the trip was meticulously planned and executed, allowing them to focus solely on their production goals.

We coordinated all facets of their logistics, starting with arranging transportation to and from Geneva airport. Once in Chamonix, we managed every detail, from selecting accommodations to suit their needs to organising all their meals. Understanding the critical nature of their work, we scheduled interviews with key climate-change experts, local meteorologists and ensured the availability of translators when necessary.

For their demanding production requirements, we sourced specialist gear, secured experienced mountain guides, and facilitated helicopter transport for glacier access. Our careful planning meant that every element—equipment, personnel, and transportation—was ready and waiting for them upon arrival.

Our mission was to create a smooth, efficient experience that allowed CNN to hit the ground running. The result was a highly successful and productive trip, enabling the team to capture compelling footage and interviews for their spectacular documentary.
