Nomadic Ski...born and bred in Chamonix in 1998.
To this day, the business is owned and operated by Andrew Frawley, an Australian who decided to take a year's sabbatical from his property investment career in Sydney. That was 1994...
First stop was Austria. Quickly discovering that the thrill of the mountains was hard to shake, after his first season he thought "just one more".
But the second became the third when he arrived in Chamonix. And by then he was truly hooked.
By 1998 Nomadic Ski was born and, some years later, The Castle Chalet Complex in the centre of Chamonix was bought. (Yes, it is named after the iconic ‘90s Aussie film The Castle!)
My wife Alex and I have made Chamonix home. Along with our three Chamoniard children and our dog, an honorary Chamionard (really he's from a rescue shelter near Geneva), we are deeply rooted in the mountains we love.
Our passion for the Alps and the incredible activities on offer are at the heart of everything we do.
From first-class accommodation to exceptional local know-how and bespoke catering, we aim to create the kind of holiday we would like to experience ourselves.
This personal touch has built our reputation for excellence.
Repeat business is our strength and, over the years, many of our clients have become lifelong friends.
With unrivalled service, an intimate knowledge of Chamonix, and a genuine love for the region, we are proud to offer unforgettable holidays across all four seasons.
At Nomadic Ski, it’s about delivering the kind of holidays that make lifetime memories.
