What's on the Menu in your catered chalet?

We offer first-class cuisine and flexibility

We take enormous pride in the culinary aspect of your holiday. All of our food, including many of the chutneys and jams, is prepared in-house by our highly trained and experienced staff.

We appreciate that the food angle of any holiday can present a number of stresses. Hungry men, fussy kids, people with particular dietary requirements – we have cooked for them all!

We understand that one night you may request a sumptuous four-course evening meal and the next a more casual bite to eat before heading out to watch a game of ice hockey or a night in the pub.

What meals are included in a catered chalet?

Canapes on arrival; breakfast; afternoon tea; evening meal and all wine and beer.

We understand the importance of a hearty breakfast before a day on the mountain. Perhaps you fancy a full British Breakfast with all the trimmings; a Continental with baguette and croissants still warm from the local bakery or a bowl of porridge.

Afternoon tea consists of muffins, cake or perhaps some yummy home-made cookies. The only consideration here is to make sure you leave enough room for dinner!

We serve a three-course evening meal prepared in-house by our culinary team. Sample weekly menus are available. We use local ingredients where possible and our menu is an eclectic mix of international cuisines and some old favourites.

Canapés and welcome drinks are served on arrival. If your flight is due in late then we can provide a buffet.

Is there a separate ‘kids’ tea’?

Children’s tea is always fun. For our little guests it works well to have a separate early dinner. The Nomadic crew has been known to cure the fear of broccoli, green beans and even mushrooms – it’s all in the presentation as they say! (And maybe a little bribery in the form of hot chocolate sticky pudding…)

Catering for special dietary requirements

We can cater for vegetarians and vegans and those with other dietary considerations such as gluten-free. If you have any specific requests, you might like to put your mind at ease by speaking directly with our catering manager before you arrive.

What about B&B and self-catered options?

We offer a bespoke bed and breakfast package and also a larder and fridge-filling service which ensures the essentials (be that wine, milk or home-made dishes) are ready for your arrival.

Can I interest you in a little tipple?

Competing for top spot is our love of wine. Someone has to do it so, every now and then, we painstakingly sample an extensive list of regional wines to make sure our clients are served the best.

If you have a passion for wine, there are several bars/restaurants offering sizable lists that incorporate the best of the French and Italian vineyards. Or why not be a connoisseur from the couch and create your own wine cellar from our comprehensive list.

For the ultimate vinophile evening (or anytime of day for that matter), one of the area’s top sommeliers and wine suppliers will put on a full wine tasting at the chalet, bringing you some of the year’s exciting new vintages alongside some long-awaited ones.

Why not incorporate a wine tasting session with a gourmet BBQ on the sundeck of the chalet?
